Kitchen cabinet painting

Repainting cabinetry begins with the material and existing finish. Doors, edges and frequently handled areas need particular attention.

Preparation before the finish

Check for grease, damage, loose joints and failing coatings. Timber, MDF, laminates and factory finishes may need different treatment, and not every surface is suitable for repainting. Agree whether doors and fittings will be removed.

Choosing the specification

Assess a sample or test area before choosing the system. Discuss brush or spray application, the work location and protection of appliances and worktops. Drying and curing requirements should follow the selected product guidance.

Define the work in your quotation

The quotation should identify the surfaces, preparation, products, access and exclusions. Share photographs and the property address so that we can discuss the condition and arrange the next step.

  • Doors, drawer fronts and fixed panels
  • Handles and fittings to remove
  • Repairs and adhesion assessment
  • Kitchen access during the work
